An existing, traditional nursing home and rehabilitation center was renovated to reinvigorate the patients outlook by retrofitting its environment with a more progressive architectural style. The new building uses large curves and bright materials to create a strong architectural appeal to passing traffic and creates an inviting entry sequence for all patients and visitors.
The new interiors of the lobby bring the sweeping curves of the exterior in with a custom, waved wood ceiling treatment and a floor treatment that creates a clear path of circulation into the space. The bright, playful aesthetic helps to facilitate a healing environment for the health care center.
