Originally a 1980’s contemporary, this home located on Long Island’s North Shore was completely transformed. A redefined entry foyer with a covered portico and archtop windows instantly changed the character and appeal of the facade.
Carefully placed reverse gables preserved second floor spaces and new double hung windows with a traditional grille pattern along with the introduction of stone and sustainable shingle siding made it all possible.
The entry stair was treated with a new handrail. The raised ceilings and new windows created a warm, bright volume while custom interior trim and a muted palette seamlessly connect the interiors of the home.
